Services in special education are designed to assist LEA special education programs in the implementation of services for students identified under IDEA. Every area of special education is covered through technical assistance and training. In addition to this, Non-Ed funds, flow-through funds for VI and O&M, and residential placements are addressed by this program. Child find activities are conducted throughout the year in compliance with the federal child find mandate. Parent questions regarding children with disabilities are also addressed.
